When they looking for sales there’s effort up until you drive off the dealership then you are on your own.
Purchasing of the car was a friendly and efficient experience. Not up until the spare key battery was flat which I took back to be replaced. The sales person who helped me had left the company and following up with Nick, the keys were no where to be found. He then promised that they had placed an order with which will take sometime since it is a Germany car. Zero communication or whatsoever, following up he never responded to my messages. Escalated the case with! I then had Dylan assigned to my case who then told me that they would have a locksmiths who they work with come to my rescue which left me with lots of questions. I then decided to make my way to the dealership, stopping by the petrol station on my way out the car could not start for the first time since the purchase. The staff there helped me jump start then I proceeded to the dealership. I was concerned about quality of the key provided by their locksmiths versus BMW, that’s where Dylan’s manager (Jonathan) convinced me otherwise. At this point I just wanted a spare key regardless,I then mentioned the battery incident I just had and walked out with Dylan to the car.Who they said if they had to check the battery they will be a charge. Me being ******** I just thought well not a big deal, week later on a weekend that happens again then that’s when I realized this is bigger than I thought. I could not do much since it was a weekend, on a Monday I was making calls on calls where they told me “ Hi ma'am unfortunately due to the period of time you have owned the vehicle we won't be able to assist in a battery replacement” Dylan Please explain how when it’s not even six months, I then reached out to the warranty company telephonically (GRSA)whom advised me to go ahead and replace the battery then I can claim.Day later Branden then send me an email to respond to with the invoice and to my surprise at the bottom stated that the limit is a thousand Rand after I have gone ahead and replaced the battery with BMW with total of R9500. A thousand Rand was paid to account today I mean what an insult, which battery costs 1000. Bear in mind the battery that came with the car was not suitable for the brand which something they should have picked up.I have tried reaching out to the CEO (Errol)who would not pick up my calls. First time buying a second hand car and I dont think I will ever again.
