Under Valued Vehicle Prices

Before you sell your car to these online buyers like Weelee and Webuycars, first try to get an estimated value of what the vehicle is actually worth because they are **** artists. Most people that sell their cars do it because they are desperate and need the cash, so they need the best possible deal. I am just looking for a change so have time to shop around.

My vehicle's retail value is R230,000 (this is the value the dealer can sell the vehicle for in a great condition). The trade value for the vehicle is R198,396 and market value is R214,650.

My vehicle is in great condition with full service record history and never been in an accident, so no bumps or scratches.

Without asking for any photos of the vehicle, Webuycars offered me R140,000 and after sending photos to Weelee and it went out to their dealer base, the highest offer for my vehicle was R90,000.

I just want to warn people to make sure before accepting these wonderful looking offers because in the end, you will lose out and they laugh all the way to the bank.

Hi Juanita,
We appreciate you sharing your experience and understand your frustration. Thank you for brining this to our attention.  Unfortunately, we cannot control what dealers are willing to offer at auction, and while we always strive to secure the best possible price, final offers depend on market demand.

We take your concerns seriously and will continue to refine our processes to enhance the experience for our customers.
Regards,
The Weelee Team
