Unauthorised charges, unsafe vehicle condition and poor after sales support from Weelee Centurion

BE CAREFUL WHEN BUYING A VEHICLE FROM WEELEE!! I recently purchased a Toyota C-HR from Weelee Centurion and have had a very concerning experience. At the point of signing, I noticed the purchase price was approximately R10000 higher than expected. I expected the purchase price plus vehicle registration and admin fees. Only then was I told that smash-and-grab and ArmourTyre had been added and installed. These were never discussed or approved beforehand, and I was effectively presented with this at finalisation with no real opportunity to decline. I also reached out to the salesperson, Ivan, which response was that he only gets a buyer for the vehicle and doesn't have control on what the F&I loads onto the purchase price. To date I've not received an invoice for the purchase of the vehicle. The next morning after taking delivery, the vehicle developed severe vibration at highway speeds and became unsafe to drive above 70–80 km/h. I had to take it to a tyre specialist, where it was confirmed that all the wheels were out of balance with one wheel significantly out of balance (up to 170g). I had no choice but to remove the ArmourTyre. Once removed, the issue was resolved. Despite this, Weelee has only offered a 50% refund on the ArmourTyre cost, even though it was not authorised and contributed to a safety concern. They were suppose to share a link for me to complete my details which I also did not receive. I also did not receive an installation certificate, warranty or product info on the ArmourTyre product. It also emerged that smash-and-grab was already installed on the vehicle by the previous owner. I found the original installation certificate with warranty in the vehicle documents. No new installation certificate or warranty was provided to me, which raises serious concerns that I was charged for something that was already on the car. Also I got loan approval after 17:00 on Monday and I was immediately informed that the vehicle just needs to be washed and will be ready for collection the next morning at 10h00. I was not informed of any installions that was still pending. I have proof the vehicle had smash and grab installed by the previous owner thus it means they first had to remove the already installed smash and grab before installing the new smash and grab I paid for. Such an exercise will take more than half a day according to an authorised installer. Which raises more questions and if there was already smash and grab on why would you install it again. In addition, the vehicle was delivered with the service warning active. Ivan, the sales person also marketed the vehicle with an active service plan, and the vehicle was also advertised as being in “Platinum” condition. Toyota confirmed the vehicle was overdue for a service and actually already skipped its annual service and was last serviced April 2024 (2 years ago), and I had to pay R4,312 out of my own pocket to get it serviced the day after I took delivery. Toyota also confirmed there is an active service plan with Innovation Group on the vehicle, but Weelee has refused to assist with transferring it into my name, even though Innovation Group advised that the dealer must facilitate this process. I also raised this with Ivan and his manager, Frikkie, and the response was that because I did not take the Weelee warranty but opted for an Innovation Group warranty instead I cannot be assisted with the service complaint on the vehicle. I have raised these concerns directly with Weelee (Weelee email address and Shanè) and provided supporting evidence. A Jonathan (After sales manager) was suppose to call me and I even reached out to him without success. Unfortunately, responses have been slow, incomplete, and key issues remain unresolved.
