Think Twice Before Buying From Welee

Extremely disappointing experience with Wheelie

We recently purchased a car from Wheelie, and unfortunately, the experience has been absolutely terrible.

From the moment we got the vehicle, the engine warning light kept coming on, and the car eventually broke down. When we contacted Wheelie for assistance, they were not willing to take responsibility or even pay the mechanic to properly diagnose and repair the vehicle. We received very little help from them throughout the entire situation.

The worst part is that we barely even got to use the car because of the problems it had. We eventually had no choice but to return the vehicle. Even then, we did not receive our full money back. We also had to put petrol into the vehicle simply so that it could be driven back, and Wheelie refused to reimburse us for that cost.

As a customer, we expected them to take responsibility for a vehicle they had sold us, but instead we felt completely abandoned once there was a problem.

Based on our personal experience, I would strongly advise people to be extremely careful when dealing with this company. Make sure you thoroughly inspect and test any vehicle and understand exactly what happens if something goes wrong after the purchase.

We are extremely disappointed with how this entire situation was handled and would not recommend Wheelie based on our experience.

I also want to make it clear how disappointed we were with the way this situation was handled financially.

We were told that we would essentially sell the car back to them and receive our money back, but when it came to actually paying us, we did not receive the full amount we had paid for the vehicle.

On top of that, they refused to reimburse us for the petrol we had to put into the car and even the monthly insurance payment we had paid while this whole situation was going on.

And honestly, what makes this even more frustrating is that we didn’t even properly drive the car ourselves. The mechanic was the one driving it while trying to diagnose and deal with the problems. So how is it fair that we are left out of pocket for petrol, insurance, and money from the purchase when we barely even had the opportunity to use the vehicle?

And then, instead of simply listening to us, Jonathan repeatedly talked over us and accused us of lying. We know what was said because we were there. He then denied saying things and seemed more focused on defending himself than actually helping the customer.

I want to make one thing very clear: Jamaine was completely different. He was kind, respectful and genuinely tried his best to help us. He went out of his way to try to get the best possible outcome for us, and we really appreciate that. This is not directed at Jamaine personally.

Our problem is with the way Jonathan and the company handled the situation. Customers should not have to fight to be heard, be accused of lying, and then be left financially out of pocket after a situation like this.

We trusted Wheelie with our money, and this is how we were treated. Absolutely unacceptable.
