I have never been so disgusted with a car dealer in my life.
Here's a story.
We bought a 2018 BMW X1 for R300'000 on 27 May.
We soon realized we bought a problematic car in that it had non-bmw parts in it which makes the driving terrible. It makes a terrible noise when going over a hump. It has no alignment and the steering wheel is very stiff and does not stay course on the road.
We approach Weelee in trying to get them to take back the car, they said they can't. But they will buy it from us at R240'000. That means when they sell it again, they will make another R60'000. Buying and selling the same car twice within a car and making R120'000 at least, without doing anything to the car.
When I asked Jonathan and Dylan who work for Weelee, they said things have changed over the past few months. What are things that have changed? Nothing.
To make things worse, we tried trading in the car to buy another one, only to find out the same Weelee had registered the Natis with Wesbank and not Standard Bank. When we asked Jonathan, he **** and said the traffic department made the mistake. But when we looked at the documents we signed, we found the invoice had Wesbank details in it.
To this day, Weelee does not want to take their car back and we don't have the natis to find a way to get rid of the car. What makes things worse, this Jonathan keeps on lying to us that Weelee made no mistake in the Natis.
This story is not over....
