MISLEADING MARKETING
I contacted weelee to get a quotation for a vehicle as their website states that they provide a free no obligation valuation. went through the processes only to be told that they only provided a quotation if you want to sell through them as they contact dealers with an offer on your behalf.
I wanted to freely compare quotations from different buyers and not be bound to them. Their marketing is misleading.

16 May 2024, 13:16Hi Zuri,
We are so sorry for the misunderstanding. We understand your frustration and would like to provide some clarity. We offer two avenues to sell your car - 1 is directly to Weelee and the other is through auction to our network of dealers. We place your car on auction - this runs daily. Upon getting an offer through auction, you can then choose to sell to the highest bidding dealer - which we disclose to you - or choose not to sell. This is entirely obligation free as you can choose not to sell at any point at no cost to you.
We hope this provides some clarity and again, we're so sorry for the misunderstanding and inconvenience caused.

16 May 2024, 13:28Again you are still just advertising your company any which way.
On the point in issue. Your "valuations" are not obligation free. You should remove that from your website because I wasted my time.
There is nothing confusing about a valuation/market quotation and being bound to a sales ploy where I'm only now told I get a choice on whether to accept the offers or not.
All I wanted was an evaluation which is what was advertised as obligation free.
You can word it as much as you want but it is misleading to state that your valuations are without any obligations when they are layered with them.
