Dishonesty and poor customer relations

In march 2024 i bought a 2005 polo 1.4. Because I knew its an old car I immediately ask the salesman to arramge for me the copy of roadworthy report that indicated things that needed to be repaired.

The salesman agreed but did not give me that report. When I came to take over the car the breaklights were on and I asked them do repair the fault but the fault started again after a week.

I asked the salesman to give me contacts of the manager. He gave me a guy called Jonathan whom.he presented to me as tthe customer relations manager.

I started sending jonathan WhatsApp and email to which he did not respond. I then took the vehicle to VW for them to check the condition of the car. VW came back with a report stating that ignition coil must be replaced. That the CV joints and shaft needed to be replaced as they put my life in danger.

I took pictures of the cv joints and shaft. I took pictures of the ignition coil. I took pictures of the oil that had gathered in the engine. I sent these problems to Jonathan and there was no response. It took 2 months for weelee to agree to discuss the car problems. That is not customer relations. I realised then that they only care about tje money and the customer does not matter at all. I bought this car for cash.

I called Jonathan for an appointment to discuss these problems. I met Jonathan on the day of the appointment and he asked to bring back the car the following morning which I did. When I got there Jonathan told they cannot help me because I refused to subscribe to their car warranty.
