Cash Buyer Ignored: A Disappointing Experience with Weelee

I wish to formally express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Weelee Centurion during my recent attempt to purchase a vehicle.

On the 03/041/2026 I submitted an application as a **serious cash buyer**, intending to purchase the vehicle outright without financing. I subsequently received a WhatsApp message confirming my enquiry, which included the contact details of a sales consultant, Jamaine ***), along with a reference number (LD-305884).

On the morning of 03/04/2026, I made several attempts to contact Jamaine—at 09:00, 11:00, and again at 13:00. Each attempt was unsuccessful, with calls failing to connect - " "The call cannot be connected, please try again later""

Given the lack of response, I made the effort to visit the Centurion branch in person on Saturday, 04/04/2026, specifically to engage with Jamaine. Upon arrival, I was informed that he was not present, and I was required to wait approximately 45 minutes. During this time, I was casually informed that the vehicle I had app**** for had already been sold two hours prior.

When Jamaine eventually arrived, the experience only worsened. He had no knowledge of who I was, nor any awareness of my application. It was only after searching on his system that he located my details—seemingly for the first time. I was then simply informed that the vehicle had been sold, with no apology, no explanation.

This entire experience reflects a severe lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer care. As a committed cash buyer who made multiple proactive attempts to engage, I find it wholly unacceptable that my enquiry was neither acknowledged nor treated with the urgency and priority such a transaction warrants.

I am left with a strong sense of frustration and disappointment at how this matter was handled.

When applying for a vehicle through Weelee, one should unfortunately not expect any meaningful coordination or communication from the assigned sales representative. In my experience, there appears to be no effective linkage between submitted applications and the consultant responsible for handling them. As a result, the representative may have no awareness of who you are, when you app****, or even that your enquiry exists at all.

Consequently, while you are under the impression that your application is being processed, the vehicle in question may be sold to another buyer without any notification or engagement. This reflects a deeply inefficient and frustrating process, ultimately resulting in a significant and unnecessary waste of time. I give a one star rating to Weelee Centurion for an awful experience I do not wish on anyone else.
