APPALLING & UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE!

ZERO RATING!!!

BELOW EMAIL SENT TO WEELEE (Morne, Jonathan, Nic and then to Jaco) AND AFTER ALMOST 2 WEEKS OF NO DECENCY FROM WEELEE TO RESPOND!

We are having significant issues with the two vehicles purchased from your dealership; Ford Tourneo Connect and Chevrolet Spark in early August 2023, almost 9months and we do not have any documents of the vehicles. As a business owner, I believe in resolving issues amicably, but the lack of response and numerous unresolved problems have left us with no choice but to escalate our concerns through various forums, including social media and Radio 702. First and foremost, it is deeply concerning that your salesperson, Morne Mouton, has completely ignored all attempts at communication. Despite multiple calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages, we have not received any response regarding the ongoing issues with both vehicles. Below is a screen grab of some of the numerous contacts we’ve made with morne and Jonathan. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and unacceptable! Ford Tourneo [INV-49598] Weelee delivered a faulty vehicle to our office with an engine fault light. This was immediately reported on 1 August 2023. After several delays, and weeks of back and forth, we towed the vehicle to Ford, Sandton as we did not want to drive the vehicle for fear of causing a major engine failure. Ford did a diagnostic and gave a report on a faulty engine among several other issues. Ford was not allowed to sort out the issue, Jonathan rather ordered the vehicle towed to Weelee’s workshop. We got the vehicle back after 5weeks with a terrible vibration when started. In less than 10 days of using the vehicle, we reported an overheating signal on the dashboard with the engine light right back with no driving power on the vehicle. Vehicle was collected again from us on 28 August and were given a loaned bakkie as our business was heavily impacted by a useless purchased vehicle. We only hot vehicle back late November 2023, we closed business in December, only started driving late Jan 2014 and broke down again in Feb on the N1 south freeway, just before the Malibongwe offramp towards Randburg. None of these numerous repair work, we doubt there were any good repair work, has been recored in the vehicle’s service book. During the first repair of the Ford, our MD’s wife's Burberry sunglasses were ****** together with magnetic company ad stickers were ****** from the vehicle. Jonathan confirms putting them in the vehicle for delivery but never got to us. This incident is incredibly disappointing and reflects poorly on the security measures at your service centre. Additionally, we have noticed several other issues with the vehicles, including faulty roof rails with no key, and a faulty rear driver door that opens with excessive friction – and despite the many visits to your mechanical workshop, one would assume this would be picked up and resolved. But no, these issues have persisted despite multiple repairs, causing us significant financial distress from renting alternative vehicles. In essence, vehicles have been back in repairs for longer durations than we have actually had them in our possession. This not only disrupts our business operations but also results in financial losses. The lack of optimal repairs and consistent recurrence of the same issues indicate a serious failure in your service department. We will be expecting compensation for the distress, rental costs incurred and loss of business income due to the extended repair periods. Chevrolet Sparks [INV-51011] These vehicles drive very well with no mechanical issues except that we have no spare key promised during the purchase of the vehicles, no papers of the vehicle including warranty that we paid for. The vehicle is currently standing, not drivable due to expired discs. This is so absurd that we are unable to use vehicle for the purpose we spend so much money on because Weelee since August 2023 cannot provide papers for the vehicles. This has prompted our lawyers to check if these vehicles are legit and not ******. In light of these issues, we demand immediate action to address the following within the next 24 hours: • Resolution of all outstanding issues with the vehicles, not excluding the option of a full refund for the Ford Tourneo. • Immediate Provision of all necessary vehicle documents, spare keys, and warranty papers. Except for vehicles that requires refund. • Clear communication regarding repair status and details of work carried out, both verbally and documented in the service book. • Compensation for rental costs incurred due to prolonged faults and repair periods, towing and storage of vehicle. • Replacement of ****** property (Burberry sunglasses and magnetic stickers) during the repair process. • Failure to address these concerns in a timely and satisfactory manner will leave us with no choice but to pursue legal action, including lodging complaints with consumer protection agencies and seeking legal remedies for our losses. We are quite disappointed by Weelee’s lack of urgency and unacceptable oversight which has left our business in a vulnerable position. We trust that you will take this matter seriously and prioritize resolving these issues to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the reputation of your dealership which we were so impressed with about a year ago.

Hi Eddie,

Firstly, we are so sorry that you've had such a disappointing experience and for the delay in communication. I have escalated your concerns internally for review and you will be contacted urgently. This is not at all the level of service we aim to provide.

The Weelee Team

Best regards,
