A cautionary tale of buying from Weelee
The business model is straightforward: sell vehicle and leave the customer. Once you've purchased the vehicle, you're essentially on your own, If you have time (lot of time) and are willing to be persistent, they may take the vehicle but then you wont have a vehicle either.
I bought the vehicle from them, noticed suspension issues reported it very next day, received no response. I took the time off and paid a visit. I was connected to Aftersales person, he promised to pick the vehicle in few days but forgot. After consistent follow-up it was picked and after multiple follow-up returned way after the promised date. But it was returned with additional faults. Next few months, the vehicle spent more time with them than with me for them to fix persistent faults.
During this time wrote to several emails to Aftersales, the management, even the branch head, not even one mail was responded. Finally managed to get hold of Aftersales manager during a physical visit. Was promised to look for option is the problem persist. And it persisted but when reported I was referred to their policies (for the first time).
In last few months, my vehicle stayed with them more than me as customer. During this time I have been renting and Ubering.
Now they want me to get a report, at my cost, that the faults (the first one was reported next day) was pre-existing.
You could be next. Be careful.
