<p>Beware before you use this company!</p> <p> </p> <p>webjet.co.nz is very quick to take your money when you make a booking, but don't dare to cancel because of unforeseen circumstances because you will not even be able to talk to someone who can help you, their telephone operators are only limited to referring you to an e-mail address, which also has no response, but wait, they have an online chat.. but nope, once they see they can't help they just end the chat!</p> <p> </p> <p>My e-mail to them:</p> <p>Hi,</p> <p>Please see attached supporting documents:</p> <p>• Bank Statement</p> <p>• Booking confirmation</p> <p>• Itinerary Summary</p> <p> </p> <p>I canceled my booking the day I was supposed to depart out of Auckland to Wellington. I tried to process the cancellation on the website, with no success. I eventually phoned and were informed because I was not able to cancel my booking on the web they will not charge me a $50 phone cancellation fee.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was informed that I will not be refunded for the flights (****) and one night's accommodation ($40) , which I do understand. You will see there were 2 deductions made on my bank statement on the 24th September: R2181.13 and R6470.48, which adds up to a total of R8591.61. I only received a refund on the 30th September of R1382.27.</p> <p> </p> <p>If I convert the amounts back to NZD on the days the transactions took place it would be as follows:</p> <p>24th September: R2181.13 = $219.82</p> <p>R6470.48 = $652.13</p> <p>Total: $877.95</p> <p>30th September: R1382.27 = $138.11</p> <p>Outstanding: $739.84</p> <p> </p> <p>Taking into consideration I would not be refunded for 1 day accommodation ($40) and flights (****), Webjet still owes me: $739 - $40 - **** = $553.84. Please advise when this amount will be credited.</p> <p> </p> <p>14 days later and no credit yet.</p>
