WebGuru (now called) EVOWEB - more like - EvilWEB!

If you are going to host with this company, expect that if you ever have any issues, and you will have them on an ongoing basis to be sure - when you reach out about lets say your businesses website being down, you will be ignored for 3 -5 business days, and later as you desperately try reach them and have the phone put down in your face over and over; and become frustrated their team will start calling you rude for complaining. A classic institutional bullying tactic.

I do not recommend hosting with these people, I have hosted with plenty companies through the years and if I needed to talk to them annually that was a lot - with this lot its been almost monthly (and sometimes more) issues with my service.

Here's how it has ended - I'm a female small business owner - I had a site still in PHP7. My old host said they couldn't host anymore - these guys said they could - then for months now the actual site has been down and redirecting to a linktree, so they aren't even hosting it anymore and are actually just hosting a redirect, however I do have a huge email file with it. We had spoken about it when I joined them and they had said to me we would look at slicing the file and I would download some files too offline storage - this never happened.

Its been almost 2 years now.

Then at the beginning of this week I noted my email wasn't working - again - its not the first time (obviously) and I mailed him to ask about it - I contacted Adam who told me my websites hosting was moved (without notice to me) to a new server - but no matter what I did the emails didn't work until he generated new passwords etc but we only did this for the one email account - the others haven't worked since.

This morning I mailed to tell them I am still having issues on the other emails, and instead I get an email ccing multiple people from a man named Martin who decided to email me and his colleagues including their director back explaining how they are suddenly cancelling my contract on the basis that my email was not yet sorted - when in 2 years that's never been mentioned again - and - simultaneously insulting me - telling me - that I am rude - to the entire team! He doesn't understand that this is defamation and a ******** offense. I reprimanded him for that, told him you don't get to provide shoddy service - not respond to complaints - and then get upset when people are upset at your lack of response about your shoddy service, it doesn't excuse the original complaint or the shoddy response to complaints about the shoddy service.

He did not apologise for his behaviour and their supposed MD "Courtney" has remained moot when asked and emailed directly if she condones this behavior. I am no ones punching bag and especially not that of people I am paying for a service. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
