Web Guru - not a guru at all... but Charlatans

1. A contract to develop and deliver a WordPress website on 13 March 2017. 2. An incomplete site as at 21 August 2017 after almost five months of rework and failed delivery. 3. On 21 August 2017 an email from Courtney at Web Guru states: "I can unfortunately no longer work on your site. I currently have too many projects and I know I am not giving you the service you require and deserve. There is still a balance outstanding but I am willing to forfeit that due to the inconvenience I am now causing. I do apologise and hope you find a better suited developer." 4. I have paid Web Guru R16,005.00 to date. 5. I have requested a full refund but all correspondence is being ignored. 6. I have given Web Guru notice that I shall pursue other options to recover my money, including legal processes. 7. Web Guru has no business address, other than a domain registration in Durban, and seems to operate from the Cape Town Area. 8. I have retained every item of correspondence to ensure there is an audit trail of the work and the processes to get the work completed.
