Frustrating Experience with Wealthtec Services

I engaged with Wealthtec Services last year to help improve my credit score in preparation for a vehicle purchase. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.Initial Engagement:Promise of Support: Initially, I was optimistic when Wealthtec presented a distribution plan indicating my accounts would be settled by October 2025.Ongoing Issues:Poor Communication: After checking in at the end of September 2025, I was informed by Lindiwe Monyai that the last debit order had been processed. However, I was left waiting for vital documents from their financial department until January 2026. Lack of Accountability: When I followed up, Lindiwe informed me that two accounts still had outstanding balances. I requested to speak to a supervisor and spoke with Emma Mthembi, who dismissed my concerns and claimed I must have miscalculated my accounts. This was frustrating, as I was working directly from their credit report. Interest Accumulation: I was told that the low balances I had in May had escalated to over R 1000 due to accumulated interest, which contradicted the initial assurances I had received. Unresolved Issues:Manager's Involvement: Emma referred the matter to her manager, Marius Snyders, who promised to provide statements and updates but failed to deliver. This lack of follow-through left me feeling abandoned. Self-Resolution Required: Ultimately, I had to contact the creditors directly to arrange payments, only to learn that sticking to a payment plan would prevent further interest accumulation—information that should have been communicated to me earlier. Fees and Charges:Unexpected Deductions: I was informed of a fee of R 785 for administration, along with a monthly fee of R 1342, both of which were deducted from my account. Marius later claimed that the R 1342 was for distributing funds, which added to my confusion. Conclusion:My experience with Wealthtec Services has been disappointing due to poor communication, lack of accountability, and unexpected charges. I would caution others considering their services to thoroughly vet their claims and ensure all details are clearly outlined before proceeding.
