Quick to ask for payment before job commences, job not done - no refund / returns
We're in a legal battle still, as these things take time (after seeing lawyers and now the case is with the consumer protector and onbudsman as well) regarding this company (which seems to branch out to other branches, what a surprise). They take payment and then when installation is suppose to occur numerous excuses poped up, delaying, halting and eventally leading to no installation being done (each time there's staff issues on their side, and not enough staff to help with installation, then weather excuses, etc.). Seriously, how can one run a labour intense company without (enough) labourers? Long story short, they took our money, left the parts at our house (solar) and didn't finish the installation. Then they demanded the items back, before making a full refund to us. When we agreed to this, they also didn't comply, so we kept the items (at least we then had something). Eventhough we have the panel and geyser (we paid for this as well as installation), the job has not been done and they have promised us in writing a refund for the amount for labour not being fulfilled (as we need to get someone else to come and finish the job) and this refund has never been made. Months have passed and still no refund, so we took it even futher. We have all the evidence in writing, even when one of the owners threatened to interfere at my work place and making false accusations in writing to us. This company is definitely not reputable and we would not recommend anyone to make use of them. If you want to risk losing money, then definitely make use of them. This has costs us not just a lot of money, but time. As for another review on them, seems "empty promises" is not something new for We Heat, especially the owner, Jon.
