On 3 February 2022, I contacted We Care Refrigeration Fridge Repair Services, henceforth referred to as We Care, (contact number +***8, email address: *** and website: https://wecarerefrigeration.co.za/) to repair our dishwasher. We had utilised their services before to repair our fridge and they had been excellent service providers.

A We Care employee (Belief) informed me that the company would need to send a repairman to assess the damage. We Care sent a repairman (James Mad****ngi - contact number +***0) on the 3rd of February to assess the dishwasher. James tried to assess and repair the dishwasher while at my residence but he then informed me that it would need to go into the main warehouse for repair. I then proceeded to pay the R200 call out fee (please see the attached photo).

We Care then did not contact us for a number of weeks until my sister who I live with, contacted them on the 18th of February (over 2 weeks after the dishwasher had been collected) and spoke to Belief and asked for an update concerning the progress of the repair. Belief let her know that there had been a drainage issue and the dishwasher needed a new drain pipe. We Care then proceeded to send an invoice for R1790.

On the 28th of February, we paid the full amount owing for the repair of the dishwasher. On the 3rd of March, my sister then called We Care to follow up and she was informed that while transporting the dishwasher, We Care had damaged the drainage pipe and needed to source a new pipe and that they would do so at their own cost.

My sister and I waited a few days to allow We Care to source the part and conduct repairs - We Care never contacted us to give us an update concerning the progress of repair. Following the last update from We Care (on the 3rd of March 2022), we called We Care on the 7th, 10th and 11th of March and she was repeatedly informed that the dishwasher would be delivered to us. They have blocked our numbers and are not responding to our calls.
