I paid R2450 promptly and in good faith, only to have my fridge in WORSE condition after the job was done. My freezer was working before they did the job and now both my fridge and Freezer are not working. After coming back to fix the job they did. I waited 6 hours and still no change. My freezer and fridge was on the super freeze/cold setting and not even getting cold never mind freezing. It ran overnight. The section between the freezer and fridge was burning hot and the rubbers on both doors were hot. We have now turned it off as my daughter and I have both burnt our hands. Clearly their guys don’t know what they are doing and now I sit with a broken Freezer and a broken Fridge. As is my right under the Consumer Protection act,In accordance with Section 55 of the Act: "Should a consumer receive any goods that fail to adhere to the requirements set out in Section 55, it can be returned to the supplier within six months after the delivery of the goods. The consumer may then request that the supplier either repair or replace the failed, unsafe or defective goods or refund to the consumer the full price paid for the goods. A consumer needs to remember that a supplier cannot force him/her to choose to have the goods repaired, if he/she prefers a refund or a replacement. A consumer can also insist on a cash refund instead of store credit or vouchers or on a replacement with something similar at no additional cost to him/her."

I have been trying to reach them all day, only for my calls to be ignored and eventually be told conveniently that the person who was in charge of my job request from the start isn’t authorized to speak about refunds and that I will have to call back the next day between 10am and 3pm which I did. I even emailed them but have received no reply. Now trying to call them and even my daughter has been trying and even whatsapped them but still no reply.
