Disappointed with service

To whom it may concern,

I'm really unhappy with the service I received from We Buy Furniture.

On the 16th July 2021(morning) I filled in a form on there website with all my details and for the lounge suite I would like to sell to them; following the steps on there website and attaching the pictures as well. I got a respond via email from them saying: " Thank you so much for showing interest in our company. Your submissions have been passed onto our offers department, pending decision We will be in touch once an official offer has been made."

Then the following day (17th July 2021), I got another mail from the saying; " Good Day. Thank you for showing interest in our company. As per confirmation from our offers department. We regret to decline what you have on offer as it does not meet our purchasing criteria. Please note that we buy to resell looking at customers’ demand and the condition of the furniture submitted. We can advise maybe try other marketing platforms. Regards We Buy Furniture.

On Monday (19th July 2021), I responded to the mail that was sent to me on Friday saying; Good Morning, Thank you for the below feedback. I understand that you have declined my offer. What I dont understand is you not even willing to put your offer or what you can buy the couches for so that we can be able to negotiate? Or do I need to resend the pictures and go through the process again? Kindly please advise. I want to sell this couches so that I can get another ones at CWA.

And there was no respond then I decided to call the WBF representative person that sent me the mail and the ladies name is: Tintswalo Goodness Baloyi. I explain to her that I bought the lounge suite/couches from Clearance Warehouse Africa on the 19th October 2020 and they where delivered to me on the 22nd October 2020, so in actual fact I've had them for 8 months. She then said she wants to go back to my request so that we can be on the same page on what we discussing, she then did and she explained that the couch looks like its got a stain and even if she can send inspectors they going to decline the offer, so I told her that I can clean that stains and I then went further to explain to her that I've got a toddler at home so she splits milk or liquids on the couches and the stains can be cleaned without an issue. She then said I should do that and send the pics to her direct mail. Also told her that the reason why I would like them to buy the couches from me is because I want to buy 2 other ones from the partner (CWA).

I had the time to think, did some research and even went to Clearance Warehouse in Boksburg branch, so I have some few questions for We Buy It: 1. On there website it doesn't stipulate that they buy Furnitures from people with terms and conditions. To limit expectations from potential sellers. 2. Why wasnt the mail that was sent to me saying; "declined" have an explanation attached with it? 3. If the price I requested was too high, cant they negotiate with me? 4. I understand that there aim is to re-sell them and they also need to make profit. 5. I went to CW in Boksburg today (20 July 2021) showroom or shop to physically look at the couches that I would like to purchase and the first thing I saw was 2 guys outside next to the shop working on some couch that looked like a second hand. I then went inside and looked around there some second hand furniture that has price labels on them and the conditions are not so good compare to my couches that I want to sell to them. 6. According to the owner of this couches which is me, I see this couches being taken to a upholster to clean them or it can also be done by there worker as a simple easy process that wont even take more than 2 hours. 7. There slogan on WhatsApp says; "Downscaling, Immigrating or Upgrading? Come and sell your furniture at We Buy Furniture" and they're declining to buy my couches yet, I want to upgrade and also support there partner.

I'm really disappointed with there service.
