We buy cars Richmond Capetown

I initially enquired about a car that was very well priced and the sales Andre was very helpful with this I believed that he was genuine in all dealing and even called me saying he was driving the car and everything was fine just for a noise coming from the cv. He even commented on the aircon working well etc As I am.based in Durban and wanted the car from Capetown I tried to do as much due diligence as possible, including reading the "vehicle report " thoroughly On the report the section pertaining to "brakes" reads "as expected " I would never have expected that a big operation like we buy cars could sell a vehicle with absolutely no brakes at all The brake pads are rubbing metal on metal with the brake disc's,there is brake fluid pouring out of the rear calipers this making the brake pedal no functional We picked up the car and as it was driven we discovered this What if we had family in the car and was involved in an accident because there is absolutely no brakes to stop the car Clearly there is some underhandedness going on with the people who do the report and we buy cars There is absolutely no way that anyone doing a vehicle condition check could ignore the fact that the vehicle brakes were faulty Coupled with that is that there is no brake test report for this vehicle which seems convenient given the situation Dekra reports most of the time have proper brake test and actual readings per wheel for their vehicles report When we contacted the manager,he was very defensive and abrupt possibly because he thought i was an ******** person especially by the way he spoke to me and condescending in every way,had the attitude and stance to say that he will not refund or pay for the brakes and by his assumption I should never have sent a driver from Durban to drive such a terrible car, that they sell,I any case. I most definitely would not have done so had there even been a slight mention of brakes being a problem Clearly, there is no regard for the law of this country by this privileged business we buy cars,they sell defective goods amd hide behind lawyers etc Most disgusting experience there and their management have no way of dealing with people,maybe I'm wrong but I think he did like the sound of my voice was different to him amd his people I now sit with a driver in Capetown,my daughter in port elizabeth who said driver was supposed to pick up amd bring home tomorrow, a car that needs repair just to take ot on the road, not even fir road worthy but just to get it to run I can't imagine how many other people have experienced such issues with we buy cars
