Worst Plumber

We did major renovations to our house and our builder suggested we use Willie Coetzer of WC Plumbing for the plumbing works. When the works actually needed to be done, he was 'busy on other sites' and 'we must remember that this was not his only project'. It became so bad that he held up other contractors who eventually dug the trenches for the new sewer lines for him in order for them to be able to complete their work. He installed the solar geyser panel on the South facing side of the roof, changed it but did not repair the roof tiles he drilled through. Eventually we could move into our house. Five days later the water supply to the geyser 'disconnected' and our house flooded- we had to move out again and had over R30 000 damage, not mentioning the inconvenience. We emailed him a breakdown of all our additional expenses due to the geyser and asked what he is going to contribute. No response. We moved back into our house 5 days later to find the sewer blocked. He ignored our calls and we had to get another plumber in to unblock the drain. A week later and the toilets still did not flush properly. The building contractor convinced the plumber to come to site and noted his waste line wasn't going down into the main line but was going up. It was repaired and 3 days later we have the same problem again. In addition the shower waste has disconnected (it wasn't PVC welded as it is supposed to be). This guy is affordable but he is unreliable, arrogant and his work is shoddy. Save yourself the agony (and the insurance claims).
