WC PLUMBING PTY LTD - OWNER JOHANN VAN LILL

Johann van Lill owner of WC Plumbing was contracted to supply and install a septic tank on my property. He requested a 70% deposit of R13000 which was paid on 5.07.21 According to him the tank had to be specially manufactured taking 7-10 working days. I had to contact him several times after the date had elapsed and eventually a date was set for delivery and installation. Nothing arrived on the day nor did Van Lill contact me to explain. Eventually after many unanswered phone calls and wapps he blamed the manufacturer for messing him around. He claimed he had contracted Covid and was gravely ill. He was going to ask them for a refund of the money he had paid this so called manufacturer and would refund me as well, then source another tank. He promised to Eft the funds info my account that day 12.08.21. Van Lill also cannot provide the name or contact details of the above mentioned tank manufacturer because it clearly doesn't exist. No funds have yet been transferred back to me inspite of another promise to do so on 20.08.21 . I perchance found several other complaints on Hello Peter regarding Van Lill and WC Plumbing, in particular one posted on 1.03.21 wherein he also claimed to have been seriously ill with covid ?? Covid in FEB and JULY ???? In his last correspondence with me he claimed he was financially drained . PLEASE BE VERY WARY OF WC PLUMBING OWNED BY JOHANN VAN LILL . His MO is to quote competitively, ask for a deposit then find every excuse not to complete the job neither to return the deposit .
