R300 000 disappeared??

WB21 instructed me to pay the amount I wished to deposit into my account with them through a bank in Malaysia known as Malayan Bank.

R 300k was sent through. When it arrived in Malayan Bank, the reference was incorrect however swift codes were sent to rectify this.

The sending bank confirmed that the funds were received by Malayan Bank. No credit to my account happened and I enquired.

They say that my funds have not arrived and they don't have the amount.

So we contacted Malayan bank, only to hear that the account holder has closed the account with the funds in there.

When I checked the details to fund my WB21 account, they had changed to the Bank of Georgia in the USA. A week later they had changed again to a bank in Lithuania!

I am sitting without my funds for more than a month with NO assistance from their help line, which has an ironic phrase saying that customer support is their priority.

This exercise has cost me hundreds of thousands of Rands AND my capital is outstanding!
