Nearly impossible to contact Waze support

I have had a Waze account for a few years now but after a recent update to the application my account was \Not registered\". I have tried everything I can think of to contact them to have my account restored but am not able to send them a message. The FAQ's do not cover this particular problem so I have had to delete my account and start a new one. The application itself is absolutely brilliant but the support system sucks!"
