Wayne's Mobile Mechanic Services in Centurion has ****** me of my time, money and has really messed my vehicle up to the point that it is now costing me double to fix at a propper workshop!

I was referred to Wayne by a colleague. My vehicle had a bearing knock which Wayne said that he could repair in 5 days. My vehicle was still in running order and just had a bit of a rough noise coming from the engine upon high revs.

I agreed to allow Wayne to start work on my vehicle and after collecting , it did exactly the same thing, but this time much worse whereby my vehicle would not even start, only after ****m (I was given a 10 000km guarantee by Wayne).

I had the vehicle taken back to Wayne and my vehicle stood there with him for over 2 months as he said that he could not get parts, during this period he would not call to give me any updates and when I call him, I would have to pray that he answers his phone as he does not return calls... If I did get to speak to him, he was always very aggressive and even got to the point whereby he threatened to assault me.

After waiting for my vehicle for almost 3 months, spending additional money on parts (apart from what I paid him in full for the job to be done), he gave me my vehicle back telling me that, "if it does the same thing again he will not be able to fix it as he has already spent too much of his time on my vehicle.. (which was because he didnt fix it properly in the first place.)

The very following day, my vehicle broke again doing exactly the same thing.

It is now at a reputable service center. After stripping the engine, the guys at the new service center tell me that the vehicle still has it's original bearings, etc that it came with from the factory (remember, Wayne was supposed to change the bearings the first time as that was the initial problem, bearing knock)...

To top it all off, Wayne had lost the key for my wheel locknuts, and makes no attempt to assist me to find it at his untidy, outdoor workshop in his driveway at home. I now have to get professionals out to break the locknuts on the vehicle at my own cost.

I have spent over R10 000 with Wayne and my vehicle is now in a worse off condition than it was before I took it to him.

I am now sitting with a new cost of more than R11 000 at the new service center simply because Wayne and his mechanics (which change on a weekly basis because his staff keep leaving him) do not know what they are doing.

Please guys, save yourselves from a load of drama and extra costs for no reason.
