Holiday Accommodation - Waves of Mercy

We have stayed in the house for 9 days and I have to say that we all were very disappointed.

The caretaker is staying on the property directly below you.

We could only check in at 16:00 the afternoon, because the caretaker told us that they are cleaning the house. It was raining that day.

When we arrived at the house, when we entered the house the floor was wet on the right hand side because the roof was leaking. We did inform the caretaker and she told us that she will get someone to fix it. The next day my daughter walked to her grandmother and slipped because the floor was wet again. We told her again and she said that the roof was pressure washed, not fixed.

We are 16 people and there was not enough cutlery and crockery there wasn't even cold drink glasses, the glasses she refers to is wine, ****tail and champagne glasses how am I suppose to give a 2, 5 and a 8 year old something to drink out of that.

When we opened the cupboards under the sink in the kitchen and also the sink where the washing machine is there were ****roaches.

The house was definitely not clean as what we expected it to be. Very disappointing.

All the beds through out the house are very uncomfortable. The dining rooms chairs about almost all of them are broken so we could not sit on it. All the siliding doors are in bad condition because it is a struggle to open it. On all the adverti*****t it stated that there are aircons but we were left with portable fans. Most off the lights in the house is not working especially on the balcony. Not enough chairs as per all the pictures that are posted/advertised.

In all the adverti*****ts it states WiFi and we are still waiting to date for the vouchers as per her message when we asked.

The jacuzzi was filled with construction equipment, I asked her why the jacuzzi is not in working condition she told me that we didn't booked it and it is because of the loadshedding, but according to the discussion we had all was included as I did asked her if there are any additional costs and she said no.

Whe then asked her if she can sort it out so that we can use it. In the meantime we clean it out to make it quicker so that we can start to use it. It was full of glass as well. She then said she will fill it up. Once it was filled she told us that we have put in bubbles and one of the pipes burst... We cleaned it with Handy Andy because it was digusting. Well every excuse in the book we never even got to use it. Super disappointing!!!!!!

We were also blamed and told that we should not throw our sigarette boxes in the neighbours yard.....Why the hell would any one do that we are not barbarians!!!!!!

The 2nd last day the water was off because a pipe burst down the street. We checked and did not see anything. We were left with 5lt water bottles. She sent us a Whatsapp and told us that she opened the Jojo tank/pump and we can use the water sparely well we definitely did not get a drop of that water. I asked her to please open the pump because we all wanted to take a shower she then told me there are no water????!!!!! But you could see that she took a shower and her garden was watered.

The maintanance on the property is definitely not on standards.

Please do not get bull**** by this house and the caretaker, because she has been bull****ting us from the day we got there.
