I installed a borehole pump and filtration system with Water Buddy’s in 2024 (Damien). He assured me that if we needed assistance/after-sales service, we must contact him. When my pump stopped working, Damien was rude on the phone and even swore at me. I was told not to contact him again and to bring the pump in. We uninstalled it and took it to him. He said it would take about 2 weeks, but we waited over a month with excuses (“too busy” / “sick”). We contacted his supplier in Centurion and they quoted R3200, but because Damien had taken the pump in, we had to deal with him. Damien then quoted R4500 and **** that it was the “factory cost” and that he made no profit. We agreed on R4000 and I paid immediately, expecting the pump within a week. When I asked politely whether the company had delivered it to his place yet (I would need to drive ±30km), he was extremely rude again and swore at me. This service is unreliable and unacceptable—I do not recommend them.😡
