Bad Experience with rental agency-

I have been renting through this agency they changed from permenent trust to watchprop, I have lost appliances due to electric issues I had an electric shock while cooking food , the geyser is leaking for a whole year now and i reported all this to the agency but whenever the handyman came he seem to never complete what he started they replaced the electric box but my appliances kept on failing I lost a stove ,3 frying pans and my deep freezer and no one not even the owner came to check up when i had shocked, when I requested a COC it was dated after all my appliances failed .I am about to move out and asked the agency if they will be re-imbersing me for all my appliances that failed or even pay half of what I had lost they simply said no . If there is anyone that can advise me on how to go about this please pop me an email- ***

Good day, your comments and review refers. The matter will be investigated and feedback will be provided after consultation with the landlord. For record purposes, the owners non this instance manages the property maintenance and an Electrical Certificate of Compliance was obtained by aforesaid. A follow up reply will be posted as the owner has been consulted in respect of the issues raised. Your review should be reconsidered as the rental agent does not have control over the property maintenance and your contract is with the Landlord. There are other avenues that could be pursued should you feel that your rights have not been protected,

Good day ,I however feel if the rental agency is renting out properties they should ensure that all CoC's /Certificate of occupancy is up to date for tenants to be able to rent the property and however do not have the landlords contact details but only the agency I expect that the agency should follow up all complaints. If there will be no solution from watchProp / owner I will be forced to ask for help from the housing tribunal.

Again, the rental contract regulates the responsibility of all parties. The rental agent cannot enforce any action on the owner.
