Watch Republic - Questionable marketing practices

Saw a Fossil watch and bracelet set advertised for R1999 on the Watch Republic website. However, when I tried to purchase it, the price was R2799.30. I called their contact number, and spoke to a representative by the name of Zakira who said that she would log a query. Spoke to her later in the day and she said that the price had not been amended on their website. I informed her that in terms of Section 23 of the CPA, Watch Republic is obliged to honour the sale at the advertised price. I am still awaiting a response in this regard!
