**** watches at high prices

<p>On the morning of my birthday, the 20th of February. I woke up to a Watch Republic gift bag next to my pillow and opened in excitement to find a gorgeous gold DKNY watch with a glittered band. It was a gift from my boyfriend. </p> <p> </p> <p>For the next two months I was the envy of most girls at work admiring my wrist swag. That was short lived however because not long after I noticed that the glitter paint was rubbing off and fading to reveal a dirty brown colour. I complained to my boyfriend about this and he was shocked seeing as he had parted with R2 700 for the watch. I asked to take in back and ask for the straps to be changed. After some time forgetting, he eventually went back to the store only to be rudely told that the gold is sprayed and is bound to wear out eventually. Then they claimed to have told him this during the purchase which they didn't. Nor did they include any care instructions with the watch. My anger is at the poor quality of the watch which now looks like a **** bought from downtown jozi and also at how the sales people at the store handled everything!</p>
