I had some storm damage last year, my insurance company sent Warren Jenniker of Jenniker Builders & general maintenance (PTY)Ltd. I asked him to, clean, fix and paint the roof while he was busy with the insurance work. He wanted a 75% deposit and ecause Echelon had sent him, I thought I could trust him. Well literally every day for 9 months he promised to come and never, when he eventually did come, they would rock up at 11.30am and leave again at 3pm. He couldn’t find a high pressure hose to clean the roof for 9 months, so I took his staff to get one, which he then asked me to sign for. He would come for a couple of hours and then not disappear for a couple of days, while the equipment hired on my name was costing R330 a day. Eventually after a week they finished cleaning a roof that shouldn’t take more than a day to clean. They painted for another half day and then told me he was rather going to give all my money back as I he no longer wanted to do the job. I had to hand him over to a debt collection agency, which never help. On further investigation we found he owed a hell of a lot of money, so one more judgement hasn’t seemed to have any effect. It doesn’t seem as if they actually have any s****s as contractors and from what his staff told me, this is MO! Beware of Warren Jenniker of Jenniker Builders & General Maintenance
