On Monday the 5th of November I took my child for her 6 weeks vaccination at our local clinic in Warmbaths and I was told to wait in the queue for more than 4 hours because I gave birth in Pretoria and my clinic card is different from those who gave birth at government hospitals. I felt really discriminated and badly treated because I had an infant and I had to wait for such a long time to receive help. As a public servant myself I feel the nurse who treated me this way failed to adhere to the Batho pele principles which they preach about all the time.
