Disappointing customer service. Will never recommend this website to anyone!

On the 18th of August 2017 I placed and paid for a neewer ring light and after many emails back and forth from Sallyanne Mokwebo about the ring light needing a converter(as it is an american product) , she then assured me that they will send the correct converter through to me on delivery.

I received the order in 3 stages which was strange to start off with, but nevertheless it arrived with no converter. I then phoned Sallyanne and she assured me that it will be sent through. The incorrect converter was sent through to me, and the ring light basically exploded. What I gathered from this is that the problem was the incorrect converter was sent as the electrical current running to the light was not correct. I use these terms very lightly as I have no training or knowledge in electrical work. Nevertheless the light exploded, a major safety risk. And Sallyanne also confirmed that the converter seems to be the problem.

I then contacted Sallyanne and the Wantitall returns department, who then assured me that the product will be collected and my money refunded to me. That was more than 2 weeks ago. The returns department sent me an email stating that I need to fill in a form and attach it to the product being returned and the courier will come into contact with me. The same day without notice the courier arrives and the product was not ready for collection.

I then arranged that it would be ready the following work day, which was the monday, yet no one arrived. Only a week later the parcels were collected.

It has now been more than a week after collection I have not heard from the returns department and I am unable to get a hold of them.

I am in need of this light for work purposes and have now been without the light for almost a month. It is really disappointing how bad this service is, as wantitall appears to be a legitimate site and they are very quick to ask you for money yet very slow on customer service. Every other online store that I have ordered from or had issues with the products, has given me outstanding customer service.

I will strongly advise anyone in the future to steer clear from wantitall.
