Walton’s poor service
Walton’s has poor service, we bought a stationary pack for grade 1 at Athole heights orientation day 6 November 2024, the pack that was sold to us had missing items in which we payed fully (including the missing items). We were told that the missing items will be delivered at the school the following week which was supposed to be the week of the 13th of November, we did not receive anything and there was no communication as to why they did not deliver . Yesterday we went to Westville branch and the manager there gave us very bad attitude as we were querying this issue, she seemed more concerned about the money than servicing us or ensuring we get the missing items. The Manager kept promising that we would get our missing items but she could not give us time frame. We eventually requested for full refund and it took her an hour to process it.
As a parent you buy those items at the orientation day to avoid running up and down to the shops, but with Walton’s we did not get that instead it was the same run around and stress.
Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention regarding your Grade 1 stationery pack purchased at the Athole Heights orientation day on 6 November, and your subsequent experience at our Westville branch. We sincerely apologise for the missing items, the unfulfilled delivery promise, lack of communication, and the unsatisfactory service you received when trying to resolve this matter.
We understand that purchasing at the orientation day was meant to save you time and prevent exactly this kind of running around that you've had to endure. We have logged a priority ticket regarding these service failures. You will receive a ticket number shortly which you can reference in any future communications about this matter.
We appreciate your detailed feedback as it helps us identify areas where we need to improve our service, both at school events and in our branches.
