No responcibility taken for poor service.
On the 17th of June 2015 after a site visit and requirement discussion we received a quote from Waltons Midrand for new office furniture to the value of R210 000. During a visit to the branch on 19/06 we were told that a 50% deposit would be sufficient for the orders to be placed as we did not have an account.
By the 10th of July after a lot of backwards and forwards on Quotes the deposit was paid and the order placed.
Only a week later were we informed that they can not place the order as we need to make a full payment. This was done and the process commenced. With a launch deadline of 14 August for our business looming, it was a constant fight with them on deliveries as deadline after deadline was missed, incorrect and broken furniture was delivered, or some not at all.
some loan furniture was delivered two days before the launch just to make the place look full.
We in desperation agreed to keep the loan furniture and asked that the account be re consolidated in order for us to get the accounting side completed. There seems to be a credit looming but no one even after many mails can sort or consolidate it for us.
The service level received from a Bidvest division is shocking
