Avoid at All Costs - Zero Service and Daylight *******

Stunned by their shocking service and daylight *******!

I requested a quote from Walters Powder Coating as we were having other work done with them via our drywall contractor - for quite a large amount. The new quote was for the coating of 74 pairs of escutcheons and 74 pairs of door handles - which came to R 8 510.

I accepted as the amount was in line with another quote I received from another company.

When I called to ask if the job was ready for collection (note, they could not even call me!) they told me that they made a mistake and the quote was per item not per set! [Even though their quote clearly states as a set!]

My email requesting the quote was very clear stipulating it as pairs but they "Read incorrectly" I was told.

They then refused to release our goods until we paid double the amount quoted. This is odd because it is also double the amount quoted by another powder coating company!

Not once were we informed about this change in price or of the fact that they made a mistake - they just went ahead with the job and then expected us to pay.

We have phoned, texted and emailed the owner - ZERO Response.
