Guards at the gate system.

We visit the botanical gardens quite often but had a very bad experience the last few times my family and I visited. (27 July 2019) The security guards was a very big problem for us as they closed the gate so that nobody could enter because an old lady couldn't find the entrance card they gave her when she entered. We waited 5m until we could enter. The car guards are a huge pain in the ass because they constantly harass you to pay them and to use their trolley services. I don't understand whey there has to be 20 guards on payroll if the gardens aren't even beautiful and the toilets are unclean..... Upon departure we weren't led out because I lost the entrance ticket. The guy acted as if we were ********* but how could we ***** the car if it was fully loaded with 4 kids and 2 adults. The guy could have been flexible and let us out but instead we had to sign a statement to prove the car was ours. According to law it's ******* to detain someone if you aren't a police officer / metro police. I'm not coming back anytime soon as I'd rather go to the Johannesburg botanical gardens as it is free and the bathrooms are constantly clean.
