PnP unfair treatment

I bought a flatscreen TV last year in August and there was a problem in terms of scanning the box it comes in , it ended up in them removing the TV from the box and scanning the QR code from behind the Tv. My flatscreen just blew up and they refuse to take it back even with my 1 year guarantee still valid.
