Stupidity par excellence

Me and my wife went to Wallgreens.My wife bought some lipstick and paid with her credit card.I wanted to buy some liquor and the guy behind the counter asked my ID.I showed to him.Then he wanted to see my wife's ID.She did not have it with her so he refused to sell the liquor to me. It is the most idiotic,senseless and absurd decision I have ever experienced.Maybe they employ mentally retarded people. I can mention that I am 71 years old and my wife 69.
