This is a review of the Summer Glades complex on 17 Avondale Road managed by Wakefields.

Secure complex but we always face problems with water supply. Every month we face several days without water. Also the units have become very old and have a lot of dampness, mould, fungus along with many plumbing issues throughout the building with water leaks, flooding and drainage problems. The neighbours are nice and friendly but these apartments are no longer a good place to live with the continuous problems we face. The complex is managed by Wakefields who seem to charge us their own rate for water consumption which seems to be higher than municipality rates. When we asked Wakefields to provide a proper breakdown with detailed usage billing, they asked us to contact the landlords. The levies keep increasing but we do not see any real improvements in the condition of the properties. Every time the levy increases, our landlord increase the rent. I was considering investing here myself but I guess that may be a bad choice given the facts above.
