Faults

When we viewed the house, it seemed to be in good condition. I knew that i have to do little things like painting etc. When we moved in, i just touched the kitchen builtin cupbourds, it sagged on the one side.i pushed and 1 side broke off.i then got someone to break the whole thing as it was falling of the wall as well. The wood was rotten. One Saturday afternoon, the ceiling boards fell to the floor. it missed us by inches as we could have got injured or even worse. To my horror i looked into the ceiling and i saw millions of wires hanging.some were nacked,some were wrapped in tape.I called an electrician.He said that entire house is *******ly wired and the house is a time bomb.We had to have all the wiring done.In January, we replaced the ceiling boards.Plumbing is *******ly done.taps are dripping. Sewer pipes not done properly.gyser was tied with wires.it could have fell on us.outside pipes are causing extreme dampiness on the wall.We are spending thousands of rands doing this house up which is ridiculous and not fair.We have got photographs as proof. <div><br></div><div><em>(Supplier name changed from Wakefields Property Management to Wakefields Real Estate by Hellopeter.com)</em></div>
