Worst agents I've ever dealt with and they are ***** too. After paying the deposit and signing the lease agreement, exactly on the day that I'm supposed to be collecting the keys, James Ndlazi calls and tells me that the apartment I'm supposed to be moving into has been broken into and it's gonna take forever to fix it and claim from the insurance. Went to check out the apartment and had a chat with the security guy, all to find out there was no break in it's all lies. I call Wakefields and ask to speak to the principal and was denied that opportunity, instead my issue was referred to the letting manager. After the call with the letting manager, Bashnie Pillay calls me and tells me that she spoke to the landlord and there was no break in, just that the landlord has gone through the documents again and decided he's not renting out the property anymore (apparently there are issues between the husband and the wife). Bashnie promises to get me another apartment and was going to send me a link with the new apartment. Shortly after the call with Bashnie, a very rude and impatient James calls telling me that he'll process my refund and when I ask about what Bashnie said, James told me that the landlord is no longer comfortable renting the flat out to me (3rd story now). Am I receiving this treatment because of the colour of my skin? I've since been waiting for a follow up call from the letting manager and haven't heard from her up until now. Their service is so disgusting, a bunch of ***** :(
