Make an appointment

I have had the flu for 7 weeks now... It has gotten worse so on the 1st September I was at the day hospital at 06h00for help as self medicating hasn't helped at all. At 08.30 the CNP came out and spoke to me. I was told to make an appointment. Appointment date is for the 29th September. I was told to self medicate again. If I am to self medicate can they please give us authority to get antibiotics over the counter because I have to treat an upper respiratory tract infection. How can they turn you away after being I'll for 7 weeks and say that you are not an emergency or critical? I wouldn't be there if self medication was working.
