Vw westgate is *******

All I can say is that wow ! I was repairing things on my car at local mechanics and this time they had to code the break system and fix my wires and I decided to go VW McCarthy Westgate . I was booked for Wednesday the 10th of June .

I left my car there at 8am , only to receive a call at around 2pm stating that I must pay R6100 . When I asked for what I was told by Rebecca that there is no quote since they are just fixing Wires and when I asked if there’s a discount I was asked how much I have .

Which raised my brows . Well I said I had R4000 and I was told to add R500.

I still didn’t give a go ahead because nothing made sense. . I then told them that my uncle , will come in the morning then I was told atleast R2000. I still can’t believe that this is vw.

Then I went was told that I couldn’t get a quote and I insisted on getting a quote to my surprise more things appeared and they were initially not there when I took the car . The wiring it’s self cost R3222 so from the beginning the 6100 was an estimate coming from an opportunist who saw me as a young lady who needs help and that they could charge me double . To my surprise I was avoiding independent mechanics to avoid such and yet I still got that . What started of as just removing warning lights led to this opportunistic situation where I was inconvenienced deliberately for three days using Uber’s with money I am borrowing .

Well I reported to the workshop Mananger Brandon today after reading online about ******** and he promised to call me and update me . And suddenly I get a call an hour ago from the same Rebecca who has been contemplating and tricking me to tell me that I must collect my car at the condition I left and not sure of what else they have done to the car in the two days . I need help because I am willing to escalate to any extent !
