Bait and Switch

Bait and Switch - ******** practice according to South African consumer law and advertising law. I enquired about an audi a5 coupe 2.0 tfsi sport auto, advertised on cars.co.za and the McCarthy VW Westgate website at R169995. I called a consultant and he confirmed the price to be R169995 and said they are an approved dealership (which they should be). I asked why pictures of the car had not been posted yet and he said it just came in but that he would send me pictures on whatsapp. This morning I see that the same car is now going for R429995. This is ******** practice. I even have screenshots to prove the price it was before the bait and switch. Shameful and disgusting.
