Bad service experience

On the 03-06-2019 I took my car to VW in Queenstown for service.I received a call informing me of all the diagnoses done and the outcome. The list was endless which included things I knew for sure that were in good working condition e.g Hooter was reported to be faulty of which I had used it on my way there and it was working. I then decided not to authorize for it to be replaced.

Later that day I went to fetch my Car and still wanted to know what was wrong with my hooter .the lady that was assisting me with the paper work went and tested it and it was working. There was no explanation as to what transpired when the technician was diagnosing my car.

My main concern is , had I authorized for my hooter to be replaced I would have incurred unnecessary costs . 2.When I got the I was told that my car was left idling because of its battery being faulty that they had to push my car for it to start.Which I never had a problem with my battery before. They borrowed me theirs so that I could drive home as it was already after 5pm.There were other things that we noted to be faulty in my car due to the battery however after I had left my battery with them and they ran test on it ,they didn't find any faults. They told me that their test shows that my battery is in good working conditions.

A week later I tried to use my cruise control but it's not working. I believe that an *********** technician was assigned to service my car and I am not happy.

As I am not expect in Cars I dont even know if it's only the Cruize control that's not working or there are other things that were tempered with in my car.
