Unpleasant experience

I bought a White 3-door 2016 VW Move up! Cash for R125000 On 10 September 2020, everything went well until I drove the car out of the dealer; when I drove home I joined the N12 freeway and decided to switch on the aircon and I got dust and dirt blown on my face from the aircon vents, and there was dust and dirt all over the dashboard; the interior was immediately dirty; while driving I waited for the aircon to get cold but the air was warm, I made sure the temperature was set on cold and the aircon button is switched on but still, the aircon wouldn't get cold. The following day same thing; the aircon wasn't working, that's when I told the sales executive that the aircon is not working; he said he will check with me. I was supposed to fetch a new battery on the 15th of September apparently they do 80 point checks on all vehicles and found out that I need a new battery but they did not say anything about the aircon; so on the 15th(yesterday) I went to Princes VW and they changed the battery and checked the aircon. The manager said the aircon pipe is damaged cause I hit something or went over a hump, I fought with the manager because he tried to turn the whole thing on me; it felt like he wanted to make a quick buck cause I'm a nice and quiet person. He said he wants to help but I need to help him as well, I needed to pay R4000 for the aircon pipe, and labor of R1600 would be free; I did not want to pay a cent because I knew for a fact that they sold me a car with a faulty aircon.

I bought a car at a VW Master cars dealership because I was avoiding faults in vehicles from non certified dealers but it turns out you can get vehicle faults from certified dealers as well.

There's a aircon regas company in Benoni that sells the the high pressure aircon pipe for R650 and does aircon regas for R950; Apparently the manager told the sales exec that he will pay as long as I bring an invoice;

so could it be that they overlooked the aircon during the 80 point check? Or they knew the aircon wasn't working and wanted to make a quick buck from a quiet cash buyer?

Judging from the aircon itself because of the dust and dirt it blew out by switching it on; looks like they didn't check the aircon at all, why else would it blow out dust and dirt all over the interior and my face if they checked it?

I also noticed that when I reach 70kilometers per hour the car makes a funny noise like I'm riding in a bus and when I slow down the funny noise stops.

Based on these things I'm giving them a 1 star rating. Aircon not working, funny noise @70kph and illtreatmen from the Manager by wanting me to pay when it's their fault.

My advice for cash carbuyers would be to never make a payment until you have seen the car with your eyes, and checked for faults like the exterior condition, interior, seats, and especially the aircon if it's working or not, and finally to test drive the car; only then you can decide whether to make the payment or not.
