VW Assist bad service
I bought a Tiguan R Line Reg HJ 97 NY GP last year brand new and early this year it had a problem with the engine cooling fan switch which malfunctioned and used to exhaust the battery. I called VW assist when I was stuck in my house then they sent a technician to fix it however he couldn’t because the car was against the wall. He opened and broke the gear lever cover to try and put the car on neutral but he failed and left saying he will come back tomorrow.
He came the following day with a jumper pack to jumpstart start the car. Days after he left the car had sounds on that portion he open when I travelled on bumpy gravel roads then I told myself that I will report it when I take it in for service because the battery was supposed to be changed too. After reporting last week at Silver Oaks VW where I service all the time ,they called William at Wonderboom he said he will find out what happened. Then he came back and said the technician said he did not break that thing. Then I called him myself and explained exactly what happened then he said he will make another follow up , I should call him the next day. Then I called the next day but he ignored my calls the whole day.
I bought two cars at VW last year if this is the treatment I will get from managers and technicians this will be my last two.
