McCarthy & VTS Road worthy center

Had a great sales guy help us with this vehicle. Was told it had all the checks done and they gave us a 80 point check that the vehicle was 100% and we received the balance of the factory warranty as the vehicle only had 38000km on the clock 2020 model. 3 weeks after purchase the vehicle started leaking oil, so off to Nissan Sinoville I went as the warranty should cover this. But to my shock Nissan personnel contacted me and said I should make a turn before any work gets done. The vehicle was raised on a hoist and then the shock came. The suspension and sub frame has been welded and bent back into position, my 10year old could do a better welding job. There was still 2 x significant tears in the frame where they did not repair and all the components that are on the front suspension are bent or welded, very very poorly. The sump has been removed and panel beat and put back in, thus the oil leak and the transfer case has also been removed and worked on. The shock had been repair and spray painted black, but the overspray is evident on the cv joint and drive shaft. The Manager at Nissan even said that the vehicle has no warranty and that he would suggest not even driving the vehicle home as the suspension could fail at any time. Yet now I sit with a road worthy certificate from VTS testing centre in Gezina also stating the vehicle is road worthy and that they even checked and marked off the front suspension. Even the McCarthy garage gave me a 80 point check were they also checked the vehicle, the remarks on the McCarthy test was leaking oil, removed and sealed. How do you fix a oil leak on a new car and not see the whole front suspension is welded. Now I sit with McCarthy is replacing the vehicle, but the next one is a demo and is R20k more expensive and at my costs, as well as this vehicle I already paid on the road fees and delivery fees and the first payment, that`s another R14k I am loosing as well. So please be aware of these guys. R34k later and non of it my fault! Must love South Africa and the system we have to get around faulty road worthy certificates.
