Extremely poor and Bad Service from VW Kimberley
We bought a brand new vehicle at VW Hatfield on the 23 July 2020. This was a brand new car. On the 13/10/2020 the EPC light came on while my wife was driving, this immediately caused problems with the speed and could not drive more than 20km/h. My wife contacted VW assist and explained the problem. VW assist then organised a tow truck so that the vehicle can be delivered to VW Kimberley to have the problem sorted out. The vehicle only has 3000km on the clock. The problem started when the new vehicle arrived at VW Kimberley. We receive the most horrible, the most Atrocious service ever. The receptionist didn’t even greet and asked what do we want. They then left my wife there and had to wait for more than 1 hour without any explanation. Eventually one of the mechanic assistants which knows my wife asked if she was helped. My wife tried to explain the problem again to the receptionist, but she responded that they cannot help us because we did not buy the vehicle by them, we must take it to VW Hatfield which is in Johannesburg. My wife asked her, but isn’t this a VW garage, she said no it’s not its NTT Volkswagen. She also told my wife that we must contact our insurance, maybe they will help. My wife was totally Flabbergasted with what was said to her. The women was very arrogant and extremely rude. This very bad and poor service from VW Kimberley in the highest degree. My wife was so upset that she just left the garage. She contacted VW SA to also lodge a complaint. The lady from VW SA assisted my wife with the problem and the brand new car is no in for repairs.
