VW not accepting returned product which is different to what i had ordered.

I recently went into VW - Spend R11K Purchasing Rubber Mats for 4 Vehicles. I finally got a call 3 weeks later indicating that the Rubber Mats are ready for collection. After collecting and inspecting, i find that they Plastic Mats instead of Rubber. I went into VW to try and return and ask for Rubber Matts. I am told that since the Matts are shipped in from Germany. I am not allowed to return them. It has not been more than 7 days since this was delivered. I am not happy with the product as it is not rubber and doesn't provide the indented benefit.

I would like to return this product and get back my money.
